Basketball Game Preview: Belmont Bison vs. Beavercreek Beavers

The Belmont Bison will venture away from home to challenge the Beavercreek Beavers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Belmont has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 7.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-32, which was the final score in Belmont's tilt against Fairmont on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 658th, while the Firebirds are ranked 190th).

Meanwhile, Beavercreek didn't have quite enough to beat Fairmont on Friday and fell 58-55.

Beavercreek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Belmont, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
