Baseball Recap: University Christian Christians vs. Baldwin Indians
After flying high against Duval Charter last Friday, University Christian came back down to earth. The University Christian Christians fell just short of the Baldwin Indians by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.
University Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Worbington, who scored a run while going 4-for-4. What's more, Worbington posted four hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Corey Wimberly also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
University Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Baldwin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
