Taylor barely beat Pine Ridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Taylor never let Pine Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-12, 25-21.

Taylor found their leader in sophomore Taelyn Babcock, who had ten digs and two aces. Taylor Lane also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Taylor's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Pine Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Coming up, Taylor is taking a road trip to challenge Mainland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Ridge, they will be playing at home against Spruce Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
