Recap: Lower Richland Diamond Hornets vs. Dreher Blue Devils
After a string of seven wins, the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 52-43 to Dreher. Lower Richland was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dreher apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Jordan Barr was his usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with six assists and four steals for Dreher. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Merrill, who scored eight points.
Lower Richland's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Dreher, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brookland-Cayce the next time they take the court. Dreher will host Brookland-Cayce at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Lower Richland will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
