Baseball Recap: Cathedral Prep Makes It Four in a Row at Home

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Cathedral Prep ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Bishop Loughlin Lions 5-4. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

The team relied heavily on Kristian Andersen, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season.

Cathedral Prep pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cathedral Prep will challenge Christ the King at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Loughlin, they will square off against Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
