Baseball Game Preview: Chester Hambletonians vs. Beacon Bulldogs

The Chester Hambletonians will venture away from home to take on the Beacon Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Chester will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Chester's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Sullivan West with a sharp 13-0 win. The Hambletonians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Beacon unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of John Jay.

Beacon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Chester, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Chester suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Beacon in their previous meeting on April 9th. Can the Hambletonians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
