Football Recap: Glen Rose Comes Up Short

Glen Rose might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Bismarck who claimed the real prize. The Beavers took a blow against the Lions, falling 48-21. The loss put an end to the Beavers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glen Rose fell to 2-1. As for Bismarck, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Glen Rose and Bismarck will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Beavers see the field they'll take on Two Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Bismarck, their break will end when they face Parkers Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
