Baseball Recap: Marmion Cadets vs. Fenwick Friars

Marmion had won four straight on the road, but on Saturday they bumped their record up to 14-9-1 to make it five. They skirted past the Fenwick Friars 10-9. The game was the first time the Cadets have beaten the Friars on their field since April 12, 2017.

Ethan Flores was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Flores was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Trajan Storto-Featherson was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Kevin Schultz also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
