Soccer Recap: La Vega Comes Up Short

After flying high against Meyer last Friday, La Vega came back down to earth. The La Vega Pirates came up short against the China Spring Cougars on Friday, falling 4-1.

La Vega's goal came courtesy of Cydney Campos, who's now up to five this season.

La Vega's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for China Spring, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lorena the next time they take the pitch. La Vega will head out to face Lorena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while China Spring will host them at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th.
