Baseball Recap: Garfield Takes a Loss

Garfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the El Diamante Miners.

Garfield's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for El Diamante, they moved to 8-11-1 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Garfield will square off against Alhambra at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for El Diamante, they will face off against Golden West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
