Volleyball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall managed to slip by Chickasha the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Fighting Chicks on Tuesday. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

While Marshall was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chickasha's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-10, 25-12.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chickasha, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Marshall has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Grant on the 22nd. As for Chickasha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tecumseh on the 21st.
