Baseball Game Preview: Gaffney Indians vs. Dorman Cavaliers

For the second straight game, Gaffney will face off against Dorman. The Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Gaffney fell victim to Dorman and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Indians haven't been shut out since back in March.

Dorman's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Gaffney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
