Recap: Righetti Warriors vs. Nipomo Titans

The Righetti Warriors won the last time they faced the Nipomo Titans, and things went their way on Friday too. Righetti snuck past Nipomo with a 51-47 win.

Righetti's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Armstrong led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Armstrong hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jacob Nelson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.

Righetti's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Nipomo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Righetti won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sierra Pacific at 12:30 p.m. on January 20th. One thing working in Sierra Pacific's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matches. As for Nipomo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Templeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Templeton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
