The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Zebras at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Franklin's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Wayne Memorial has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Franklin's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Edsel Ford hitters got past them. The Patriots came up short against the Thunderbirds on Saturday, falling 16-6. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Ryan Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times he's played. Andrew Mullins was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Wayne Memorial scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Jefferson by a score of 12-11.
Donny West put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. West was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Noah O'Neil was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Michael Seymour, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.
Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin fell to 10-1. As for Wayne Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
Wayne Memorial's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Franklin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .510. It's a different story for Wayne Memorial, though, as they've only averaged .214. Will they be able to contain Franklin's hitters?
Franklin took their victory against Wayne Memorial in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Zebras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
