Volleyball Recap: Lyman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lyman entered their match against Mountain View on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles came up short against the Buffalos, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Buffalos since October 18, 2023.

While Lyman ultimately came up short, they really made Mountain View work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Karli Bradshaw paced Lyman's offense, picking up eight kills. Bradshaw got some help from Amy Eyre and her 18 assists. Finally, Bradshaw was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14-1. As for Mountain View, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-12-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lyman will face off against rival Lander Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mountain View is set to take on their familiar foe Pinedale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
