James Irwin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Sand Creek Scorpions by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. If James Irwin were looking for revenge after losing 6-3 to Sand Creek when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
