Baseball Recap: Irondale Takes a Loss

Irondale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Forest Lake Rangers, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 on Wednesday.

Irondale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Forest Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Irondale will square off against rival Mounds View at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Forest Lake is set to challenge their familiar foe White Bear Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
