Belleville is 8-2 against Wayne Memorial since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Belleville Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Wayne Memorial Zebras at 7:00 p.m. Belleville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Belleville stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Churchill at home to the tune of 69-26. That 43 points margin sets a new team best for Belleville this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Wayne Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dearborn. While losing is never fun, Wayne Memorial can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Dearborn is ranked sixth).

Despite the defeat, Wayne Memorial saw an underclassman step up: Carlos Medlock scored 28 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That was a full 48.3% of Wayne Memorial's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Moussa Sedime was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.

Wayne Memorial struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.

Belleville pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Wayne Memorial, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
