Recap: Presidio Blue Devils vs. Alpine Bucks
The Presidio Blue Devils suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Alpine by a score of 40-38. Presidio has struggled against Alpine recently, as their match on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Alpine's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Novah Carrasco, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Hope Dominguez, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Presidio's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-6. As for Alpine, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-14.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Compass Academy the next time they take the court. Alpine will head out to face Compass Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Presidio will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
