Softball Recap: Laurel Highlands Comes Up Short

Laurel Highlands fell victim to Elizabeth Forward and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

Laurel Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Elizabeth Forward, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Laurel Highlands is set to square off against their familiar foe West Mifflin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Forward will challenge rival Belle Vernon at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
