Football Recap: Brazosport Comes Up Short

Brazosport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 40-14 to the Sweeny Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Exporters of the 49-34 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Brazosport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sweeny, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brazosport will venture away from home to square off against Bay City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sweeny, they will head out to take on Harmony School of Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
