Benjamin Plemons Turns in Season-Best Performance

Chestatee was led to victory by Benjamin Plemons, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Plemons' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Chestatee's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. Plemons and Chestatee will face off against Dawson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Espinoza Posts Huge Game in 37-14 Victory

Another Chestatee player making an appearance on this list is Hector Espinoza. He rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. He is becoming a predictor of Chestatee's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Johnson is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Young and Johnson will venture away from home to square off against Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Faulkner As Lumpkin County Won 64-14

Rounding off our Top Five is Cal Faulkner of Lumpkin County. Faulkner threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

The win was the third in a row for Lumpkin County, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Faulkner and Lumpkin County will face off against North Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
