Softball Recap: Everglades Comes Up Short

Everglades came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-4 to the McArthur Mustangs. The Gators have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Everglades saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Diaz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.

Everglades now has a losing record of 3-4. As for McArthur, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everglades wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-9 win against Deerfield Beach on the 19th. As for McArthur, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Plantation at 6:30 p.m. on April 1.
