Baseball Game Preview: East Wake Academy Eagles vs. Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves

The East Wake Academy Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

East Wake Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Wakefield just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 7-1. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge lost 12-1 to Wake Forest on Monday.
