Wimberley has gone a perfect 4-0 against Jarrell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Texans will host the Cougars at 7:30 p.m.

Wimberley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 31 points back in September, they were much more limited against Salado on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 23-9 to the Eagles. The game marked the Texans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wimberley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aiden Patek and Adam Sherwood.

Meanwhile, Jarrell strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 win over Navarro. 35 seems to be a good number for the Cougars as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Jarrell's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Wimberley, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Wimberley against Jarrell in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-8 victory. Will the Texans repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
