Basketball Recap: Marlboro Central Has No Trouble Against Spackenkill

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Paltz, Marlboro Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 win over the Spackenkill Spartans. For the Dukes, this counts as revenge for the 48-40 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Marlboro Central's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Spackenkill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlboro Central will face off against Red Hook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spackenkill, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rondout Valley at 5:30 p.m.
