Football Game Preview: Jamestown vs. Valley City

Valley City will challenge Jamestown on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.

Valley City secured a 6-0 W over Devils Lake/Minnewaukan.

Meanwhile, if Jamestown were riding high off their 46-14 takedown of Turtle Mountain two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Jamestown suffered a grim 7-37 defeat to St. Mary's Central last Saturday. Jamestown's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.

Valley City took a serious blow against Jamestown the last time the two teams met, falling 6-42. Can Valley City avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
