Desert Hills had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dixie Flyers. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Desert Hills walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-11.

Dixie lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaselle Mills, who had 17 digs.

Dixie's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
