Volleyball Recap: Pender Patriots vs. Fairmont Golden Tornadoes
Pender took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 25-17, 32-30, 29-27.

Jensen Bordeaux went supernova, getting 38 digs, six kills, and three aces. Those 38 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eden Gurganous, who had 27 digs and two aces.
