Basketball Recap: Richford Falls Short Against Ranked Twinfield

On Monday, Richford faced Twinfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Richford Falcons fell to the Twinfield Trojans 69-65. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Richford's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Twinfield, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Richford will venture away from home to square off against Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Williamstown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Richford likes a good challenge. As for Twinfield, they will face off against Stowe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
