Softball Recap: Marksville Tigers vs. Bunkie Panthers
Marksville pushed their score to ten the last time they played Bunkie, but on Monday they couldn't quite do it again. The Marksville Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bunkie Panthers a 2-0 shutout. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Katie Lachney made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched.
