Baseball Game Preview: Yale Bulldogs vs. Pawhuska Huskies

Yale hasn't had much luck against Pawhuska recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Yale has given up an average of 12.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Yale is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 11-3 to Carney. That's two games in a row now that Yale has lost by exactly eight runs.

Meanwhile, Pawhuska didn't have quite enough to beat Ripley on Monday and fell 4-3. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pawhuska saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Cass, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Pawhuska's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Yale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Yale might still be hurting after the 13-1 loss they got from Pawhuska in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
