League recap: flecher breaks off league-leading run for Oak Hills

De Zhontaey flecher of Oak Hills ran for the longest rushing play in Mojave River this season against Knight last week. Flecher ran for 95 yards on the play and finished with 226 on the day as his team defeated the Hawks.

Fans got a thrill when Austin Williams and Alex Hammond connected against Granite Hills. The connection was good for 72 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.

Hesperia's dynamic duo of Williams and Christopher Crummel proved to be unstoppable against the Cougars, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Williams threw for 325 yards and 6 touchdowns and Crummel had 156 yards receiving. Hammond helped Hesperia's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 128 yards.

The Scorpions' dynamic duo of Williams and Crummel proved tough for Granite Hills to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Crummel was the best receiver in the league this week as Hesperia bested Damian Staricka's team.

Flecher was a beast in the backfield as Oak Hills topped Knight.

Flecher was the best running back in Mojave River this week. Teammate christian Naverette added to the ground attack by rushing for 86 yards.

Tyler Lozano was a key player and the best on defense this week as Robert Kistner's team topped Corey Guilfoos' team. The 5-foot-6 senior.

Williams put up the best numbers in passing as Jeremy Topete's team defeated the Cougars.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Scorpions' Williams and Crummel have proven to be a lethal combination. Williams has thrown for 454 yards this season, while Crummel has 17 catches for 204 yards. The Bulldogs' flecher leads the league in rushing yards with 400.

Hesperia scaled the state rankings by moving to 419 from 473 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Scorpions were able to make move up by beating Granite Hills 60-13.
