Basketball Game Preview: Westfield School Hornets vs. Brookstone Cougars

Westfield School and Brookstone are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2023, but not for long. The Westfield School Hornets will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Brookstone Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Westfield School will be strutting in after a win while Brookstone will be coming in after a defeat.

Westfield School is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest victory since December 12, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on Strong Rock Christian with a sharp 40-17 win.

Meanwhile, Brookstone played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by St. Anne-Pacelli and fell 61-32. The Cougars have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Westfield School's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Brookstone, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
