Marist strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the King Jaguars by a score of 53-43. The RedHawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

King's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cornelius Moore, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corey Wellere Jr, who put up nine points.

Marist's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for King, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2.

Marist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-34 loss against Sidwell Friends on the 6th. As for King, they have also already played their next contest, a 43-41 victory against Julian on the 6th.
