Basketball Recap: Jay Takes a Loss

Jay extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-12. They lost to the Adair Warriors on the road by a 68-54 margin. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 64-62.

As for Adair, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games.

Kyler Green was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 12-for-20 to rack up 31 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Drew Evans, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jay will square off against Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Adair, they will face off against Kansas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
