Volleyball Recap: St. David's Takes a Loss

St. David lost against Wake Christian Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-9.

Wake Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Evann Curry, who had 14 digs and four aces. Curry is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

St. David's has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Wake Christian Academy, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-7.

St. David's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Grace Christian on the 7th. As for Wake Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Trinity Academy on the 7th.
