After a string of six wins, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Sabine Cardinals.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' offense was headlined by Zoe Armstrong and Gabby Lumby, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Claire Samples and her 19 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Sabine, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics and Sabine will both be playing Waskom the next time they take the court. The Archers will head out to face the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
