Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 64-15 loss at the hands of the North Duplin Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-35 last Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Union still got an impressive performance from ZADARIYAH FAISON, who posted six points. That was a full 40% of Union's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Tateyawna Faison was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and ten rebounds for North Duplin. Faison is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lilly Fulghum, who put up nine points and four steals.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for North Duplin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 42-24 win against Hobbton on the 10th. As for North Duplin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-16 victory against Rosewood on the 10th.
