Behind a 1-0 record over the past week,
McMichael made the biggest jump in the North Carolina state rankings, all the way from 87 to 59.
Morehead's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing three hits and one walks to lead the league in both categories. The Panthers have given up a mere 183 hits on the year in addition to compiling 123 strikeouts.
Spencer O'dell is the leader in that category with 37 Ks on the season.
The week's strikeout crown belonged to
Jeremiah Moreadith, who turned in two Ks for Morehead. He's sixth in the league with 24 total strikeouts.
