Soccer Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Centennial Titans, falling 4-0. The shutout was out of character for the Coyotes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

With the loss, Heritage broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6-3. As for Centennial, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Heritage will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Reedy at 7:30 p.m. on March 21st. As for Centennial, they are taking a road trip to challenge Turner at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th. Centennial's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Turner's offense will have their work cut out for them.
