Soccer Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Ripley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Itawamba Agricultural Indians, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Tigers struggled afterwards.

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Itawamba Agricultural, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5-1.

Ripley will be playing at home against Center Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Tishomingo County on the 20th.
