Recap: Northwest Yeshiva Lions vs. Summit Classical Christian School Archers
The Northwest Yeshiva Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell to Summit Classical Christian School 69-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Northwest Yeshiva still got an impressive performance from Joe Benoliel, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Benoliel has scored all season. Sam Weichbrodt was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Summit Classical Christian School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cameron Milojevich, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Milojevich scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Hodo, who scored 23 points along with two steals.
Northwest Yeshiva has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Yeshiva will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they will head out on the road to take on the Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
