Basketball Game Preview: Garfield Heights Bulldogs vs. Lorain Titans

The Garfield Heights Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Lorain Titans at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

On Wednesday, Garfield Heights was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 40-35 to Ravenna. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Ravens 9-5 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Lorain had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They took down the Invaders 56-42.

Garfield Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lorain, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Garfield Heights suffered a grim 67-44 defeat to Lorain in their previous matchup back in January. Can Garfield Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
