Baseball Recap: Veterans Memorial Comes Up Short

Veterans Memorial lost against Los Fresnos back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 10-1 to the Falcons. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Veterans Memorial saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Vela, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Sergio Sosa also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Veterans Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Los Fresnos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3-2.

Veterans Memorial has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against San Benito on the 4th. As for Los Fresnos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-1 victory against Harlingen on the 4th.
