Anniston extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 6-0. They walked away with a 20-13 victory over the Cherokee County Warriors. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 14-0 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

As for Cherokee County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. Their loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Cherokee County lost, don't look at Keyshawn Woods. Despite the final result, he rushed for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Woods' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
