Volleyball Recap: Pearsall Comes Up Short

Pearsall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Somerset Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mavericks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-6, 25-17.

Pearsall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Somerset, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Coincidentally, Pearsall and Somerset will both be playing Floresville the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers/Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mavericks will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
