Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glenwood Tigers. The Redmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Rock Hill sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 17-25, 25-15, 10-25, 15-5.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Glenwood, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Hill will take on Dawson-Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood, they will welcome Northwest at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
