After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cordova, Fultondale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Tigers with a sharp 14-1 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Hayden Tanner looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Jaiden Palmer and Austin Rogers did most of the damage at the plate: Palmer scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Rogers went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
