Baseball Recap: Fitch Comes Up Short

Fitch lost against Norwich Free Academy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-4. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fitch's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Norwich Free Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fitch will face off against Waterford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will head out to take on Rockville at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
